The Truth is STILL Out There

Scully and  Fox Return from the Grave

New News Via SYFY Wire.

After lying dormant in a shallow grave, The X-Files emerged from its restless slumber in 2016 with a six-episode 10th season. In proper X-Files style, it left us with more questions than answers.
But once again, creator Chris Carter will be unearthing its creepy tales with a 10-episode eleventh season. And at New York Comic Con on Thursday, he gave fans a taste of what's in store by dropping the first footage from the new season.

ASUS Prime Z270-A Motherboard on PCPer

ASUS Prime Z270-A Motherboard Review

on PCPer Website

The Prime Z270-A motherboard is one of ASUS' initial offering integrating the

Intel Z270 chipset. The board features ASUS' Channel line

aesthetics with a black PCB and white plastic accents.

The board's integrated Intel Z270 chipset

integrates support for the latest Intel LGA1151

Kaby Lake processor line as well

as Dual Channel DDR4 memory.

Offered at a price-competitive MSRP of $164,

the Prime Z270-A offers a compelling price point with

respect to its integrated

features and performance potential.

The Drive to make things More Difficult

Bits and Pieces of  8

(the dogs that ate my homework environment)

Trying to Work with Google Drive?

Here are Some of the Gotchas

Forget about Picasa and Learn Files and Folders

It's all about the New App Culture and that just
Can't be good.

Welcome to the Land of  Way Too many Conversions

On Windows I use notepad for most of  my quicky notes.  And over the years that functioning program has served me quite well thank you. different

Enter the World of Google Drive and it's
"Let's throw out this baby with the bathwater"
and use something different

(somehow that sounds so Monty Python to me)

"You don't have to Fix It if it Really isn't broken, Dude!"

But engineer's are always changing things, aren't they?

This mentality is the result of too many

"Kooks" in the Kitchen.

Some things Work,
Other things...
Not so  much.

And so it Goes...

A New Cordcutter makes a Point

===================
Cable was Out last night and yet
life went on...

With a little gadget called
Raspberry Pi
the show went on.
----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------

Of course with my new add on YouTube TV
and my Chromecast connector, I could still
watch 'live' network tv.  Thus I was able to
see the Clippers win game 6 with Utah and
force a game 7 on  Sunday.

Lucky me, I had just set up my desktop
computer running Win 7 with the Chrome
browser and had access to my new

YouTube TV Toy.

-----------------------------------------------

Afterwards, using the Raspberry Pi
We watched old episodes of  Dark Matter
season 2. Which switched on the ABC
pluugin that has a list of  ABC shows
both old and new.  We watched a couple
of episodes of  The Middle, whose comedy
is not from left field.
