A New Cordcutter makes a Point

Cable was Out last night and yet
life went on...

With a little gadget called
Raspberry Pi
the show went on.

Of course with my new add on YouTube TV
and my Chromecast connector, I could still
watch 'live' network tv.  Thus I was able to
see the Clippers win game 6 with Utah and
force a game 7 on  Sunday.

Lucky me, I had just set up my desktop
computer running Win 7 with the Chrome
browser and had access to my new

YouTube TV Toy.

Afterwards, using the Raspberry Pi
We watched old episodes of  Dark Matter
season 2. Which switched on the ABC
pluugin that has a list of  ABC shows
both old and new.  We watched a couple
of episodes of  The Middle, whose comedy
is not from left field.

Xiaomi Mi 6 is now official; phone will be released on
April 28th with SD-835 and 6GB of RAM

Posted: 19 Apr 2017

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is now official. Introduced by Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun this morning, the eagerly awaited handset features a
5.15-inch display carrying a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution.

The Snapdragon 835 chipset is under the hood with an
octa-core 2.45 GHz CPU,
and the Adreno 540 GPU.

The handset will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or
128GB of native storage.

A 3350mAh battery is charged with keeping the lights on. Because the Snapdragon 835 SoC is 25% more efficient than the Snapdragon 820,
the Mi 6 should provide users with outstanding battery life.

Saturdays Post on Working with my new YouTube TV

YouTube TV  The Good Part:

YouTube TV is working very well now.  Saw live broadcast
on my windows 10 laptop of  the Clippers and the Jazz in
game one of the first round semi-finals.

The Bad Part:

The Clippers lost with a last
second shot of the game.

And so it goes.

MC2backup And the Screens Just Keep On Coming

A New Phase of TV that comes over the air:

YouTube TV  from Google.

Starting with 39 basic channels of  CBS NBC ABC FOX and ESPN and many more in Live Feed and the ability to record everything (like 3 simultaneous channels to watch later. )

The $35 dollar entry price is very tempting.
