Do You Know the way to San Jose?

Next week, in San Jose, California, commences the greatest general
scientific conference in the world, the annual meeting of the American
Association for the Advancement of Science, bringing together sages from
every field. What better place for me to come on-stage and debate the
issue of "Messaging Extraterrestrials" with the small coterie of radio dish
mavens who want to shout into the cosmos, on our behalf.

Almost like listening to Hour 25 with Mike Hodal, back in the 80's...
Hour 25 is a radio program focusing on science fiction, fantasy, and
science. It was broadcast weekly on Pacifica radio station KPFK in
Southern California from 1972 to 2000, and is now produced on an
irregularly-scheduled basis (typically two or three episodes a year) and
distributed over the Internet via hour25online.com. Hour 25 has featured
numerous interviews with famous authors of science fiction and fantasy,
in addition to luminaries of the scientific community. The program was
hosted by Mike Hodel (working with a series of co-hosts)
