MC2 Post 2076 The Lenovo’s new Tango phone

The PHAB2 Pro is the new flagship phone from Lenovo. Powered by Google’s

Project Tango, the Pro features a set of sensors and software that allows it to

sense and map its surroundings, enabling augmented reality (AR) experiences

that wouldn’t be possible on other phones.

Along with being the world’s first Tango phone, the PHAB2 Pro is also a

competent Android 6.0 flagship. The Pro features a 6.4-inch Quad HD display,

Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage,

4050 mAh battery, 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera.

If you want a massive Lenovo phone that isn’t Tango-enabled, the more

affordable PHAB2 and PHAB2 Plus devices might be worth a look.

The PHAB2 features a 6.4-inch 720p HD display,

MediaTek 8735 quad-core processor,

3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage,

4050 mAh battery, 13 MP rear

camera and 5 MP front camera.

The PHAB2 Plus comes with many of the same specifications (save for its

upgraded 1080p display and octa-core processor), but the selling point for the

Plus is its 13 MP dual rear camera with additional professional features.

Lenovo’s PHAB2 will retail for $199, the PHAB2 Plus will cost $299 and the

Tango-enabled PHAB2 Pro will be available at $499. All three phones will launch

globally this September, with a US launch planned before the end of the year.
